Hugh-circle.png Vice President - Hugh Peterken

A key learning from my varied career is the importance of business analysis in any successful organisation. I am currently a strategic business analysis consultant, but started my career as an engineer, then became a senior manager in Telstra before moving overseas to take up a global Chief Information Officer role. I have received international and domestic recognition including a Computerworld Laureate.

I have always been a strong supporter of industry associations such as IIBA. I have held roles as Brisbane and Australian Chair of The Institute of Engineering and Technology and I am currently the Chair of IIBA Brisbane Branch.

My agendas within IIBA relate to ensuring that business analysts are properly supported to fulfil their potential in driving forward business success. In my work I see how strong business analysis capabilities are often the differential that drives project or service success. Within IIBA we have the opportunity to help our members develop their skills, networks and influence.

Treasurer - Susan Webb

I’ve been volunteering with the IIBA Perth chapter for 5 years, the last 3 in the position of Chair, so I understand how the organisation works at a practical level.

I’m the Principal Practitioner for Business Analysis at DDLS, and I am also a Business Intelligence specialist, with experience in Finance, Education and ICT.

I believe I can use this experience in these disciplines to help guide the IIBA Australian Chapter to make better strategic and tactical financial decisions moving forward and gain better insights into all aspects of the chapter
