COVID Safe Events
All IIBA® Australia Chapter Events, incorporating any in-person gathering, including but not limited to networking, educational and/or study groups, will follow all COVID-19 guidelines and regulations set by the respective State & Territory Governments to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Attendees MUST NOT attend the event in person if they have any of the following symptoms:
- Sore throat
- Shortness of breath
You must also not attend the events if you have:
- Returned from overseas in the last 14 days
- Have travelled from a declared COVID-19 hotspot
- Have been in contact with anyone who has been asked to isolate or has been diagnosed with COVID-19
If you are registered to attend any event in person and are experiencing any of the above symptoms or can no longer attend please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a transfer to an online attendee or refund where applicable.
If you become unwell during an event please notify the IIBA® Team and remove yourself from the session rooms. The IIBA® Team will liaise with the venue staff in isolating you and seeking medical assistance.
Hand sanitiser will be provided throughout the venue, however, it is your own responsibility to manage your own personal hygiene to stop the spread of germs!
Venues staff will be monitoring social distancing throughout the event and we appreciate your assistance in following floor markings and directions.
