BABOK® V3 Study Group (Online)
About this event
The IIBA® Melbourne branch will run an online facilitated BABOK® Study Group that will cover the knowledge contained within the BABOK® v3 in a collaborative environment. Senior Business Analyst at NAB, Walter Yu will facilitate this educational offering.
Walter is an experienced consultant in business, technology, and project delivery, including organisational change management in various industry sectors.
Besides software product development and business computing, he has consulted for several companies in business process re-engineering, artificial intelligence, expert systems, building automation, and e-commerce strategies. Previously, he has been an adjunct faculty with universities around Australia, France, and the UK.
Walter is a valued mentor with IIBA Australia Chapter on its Professional Mentoring Program and a volunteer with PMI Melbourne Chapter. He also helps out at The Salvation Army's Hamodava Café whenever possible.
The BABOK V3 Study Group will be a professional development opportunity for business analysts looking to gain knowledge of the BABOK and those seeking certification at CCBA level. Provide a structured and shared experience to learn the content of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Version 3 (BABOK®):
- Knowledge Areas
- Techniques, and
- Underlying Competencies
- To identify practices that may enhance your own business analysis performance
- To share experiences and challenges, and achieve a greater understanding of how to achieve business analysis success
Date: Starting 18 July for 12 weeks, ending 3 October 2022
*Runs for 12 weeks on Monday nights
Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm AEST
At the conclusion of this study group:
- Participants will achieve a demonstrated understanding of the BABOK® content and know how to use the BABOK® for reference.
- Participants will gain an awareness of the IIBA® certification application process and examination.
