IIBA® Brisbane - Scaling Business Analysis into the strategic horizon
A panel discussion event focusing on strategic business analysis techniques and capabilities to initiate business transformation at an organisational level, which translates into the execution of the initiatives and delivering outcomes. Strategic business analysis involves outcome-focused thinking, encompassing an understanding of business context, challenges, and internal/external complexities. This includes framing transformation scopes, articulating business needs/outcomes, considering long-term impacts, aligning with organizational objectives, and shaping the transformation agenda. It leverages business analysis, change leadership, and program and project management. The strategic business analysis focuses on the ‘what and why’, not the ‘how’ of solution implementation.
At this event, Business Analysis can expect to gain invaluable insights into strategic business analysis techniques and practices, enabling them to drive organizational transformation, shape agendas, and contribute to successful outcomes.
