IIBA Australia Chapter would like to thank our Volunteers

Celebrating International Volunteer Day

The IIBA® Australia Chapter would like to recognise our amazing volunteers on International Volunteer Day. This year's theme is #GlobalApplause. As a non-profit, membership-based professional association, IIBA Australia relies entirely on our volunteers.

Our hard working, dedicated volunteers run our seven Branches across Australia, from Branch Chairs to Study Group Coordinators.  The exceptional IIBA Events that you attend in your capital city are set up and run by passionate teams of local volunteers dedicated to promoting the local and national Business Analysis professional communities.

In addition to our great events hosted by the Branch network, this year saw our volunteers run the Business Analysis Professional Days (BAPD) in Melbourne, Brisbane and for the first time, Perth.  These massive, complex events are put together through hundreds of hours of effort by our volunteers.   I think we can all agree that our volunteers put together an amazing series of events.

A special thank you also goes out to our Speakers for both our Branch Events and BAPDs.  Our Speakers all volunteer their personal time to provide educational and highly entertaining presentations to our members.  The IIBA Australia Chapter greatly appreciates their ongoing support and thanks them for their wonderful presentations.

At the Board level, in addition to the long days and nights by the Board members, we are supported by some highly dedicated volunteers, such as our Australian Chapter Membership Administrator and our Webmasters. Next year will see an expansion in the number of volunteer roles to support the Board.

With thousands of hours of volunteer engagement this year - we absolutely want to recognise the contributions and great outcomes of our volunteers.

While giving volunteers #GlobalApplause for their contributions, we also want to encourage everyone who has not yet volunteered to join in and take part!  You can find out more information here: https://australia.iiba.org/volunteer

Thank you
