With the launch of our new IIBA^® competency-based Certification program based on BABOK^® Guide v3, we are encouraging users of version 2 to transition their practices to the current standard in business analysis.

 

As of March 31, 2017 BABOK^® Guide version 2 will no longer be distributed by IIBA.

 

We recognize that not all Members of our global community have moved their practices to align with BABOK^® Guide version 3, and we will continue to provide support to these Members. Special orders for BABOK^® Guide version 2 can be made via bokorders@iiba.org.

 

As the discipline of business analysis continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of business, the role and areas of focus also continue to evolve. Changes to BABOK^® Guide v3 include the five knowledge areas: Business Intelligence, Business Architecture, Business Process Management, Agile & Information Technology, plus case studies and articles.

 

If you are still referencing BABOK^® Guide v2 now is a great time to upgrade and enjoy all the enhancements and additional scope of content the latest version has to offer.
