Call for Judges

We are seeking experienced, thoughtful professionals to join the judging panel for the 2026 IIBA Australia & New Zealand Business Analysis Awards.

As a judge, you will play a pivotal role in recognising the individuals, teams, and organisations shaping the future of Business Analysis across the region. This is an opportunity to engage with high-quality submissions, gain insight into leading practices, and contribute to celebrating excellence in innovation, leadership, emerging talent, and impactful contributions to the profession.

Serving as a judge offers a unique perspective on how Business Analysis is evolving in practice, while also allowing you to give back to the community by helping to set the benchmark for excellence.

23 October: Winners announced at the 2026 IIBA Festival of Business Analysis in Sydney.

  • Availability for both rounds of judging (see below, Judge Role & Responsibilities)

  • You must be an IIBA member in good standing to be eligible

Judge Role & Responsibilities

What is involved? 

Each award category is assessed by a panel of three judges. Judging is completed in two stages and is conducted online.
Round One: Written Applications

You will review and score written nominations against a set of criteria via an online portal.

  • Dates: 10 August – 24 August 2026
  • Time commitment: Approximately 8–12 hours per category
  • Outcome: The top three nominations per category will progress to finalist interviews
Round Two: Finalist Interviews

You will participate in online interviews with the shortlisted finalists and collaborate with your fellow judges to determine the winner.

  • Dates: 7 – 18 September 2026 (AEST business hours)
  • Format: 30-45 minute online interviews per finalist (Zoom)
  • Time commitment: Approximately 4 hours per category

The success of the Awards program relies on judges meeting deadlines and participating fully in both rounds. Timely review and attendance are essential to ensure a fair and high-quality judging process.
