Andrew Macfarlane | Chief Information Officer for Barwon Health and South West Alliance of Rural Health
Andrew is an experienced IT executive with nearly four decades in the industry, spanning sectors such as retail, finance, aviation, environmental services, and healthcare. Since 2019, he has served as Chief Information Officer for Barwon Health and the South West Alliance of Rural Health, leading digital strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and clinical systems delivery. Andrew is deeply committed to innovation that improves health outcomes, focusing on data, integration, and ‘fit for purpose’ technology that meets both immediate clinical needs and long-term strategic goals. He believes trust, safety, and usability must underpin all digital health initiatives.
Jarrod Roberts | Senior Delivery Lead – Community EMR, Barwon Health
Jarrod is the Senior Delivery Lead for the Community Electronic Medical Records Project at Barwon Health, responsible for driving the delivery, operations, and DevOps strategy for its Salesforce-based clinical platform. With over 15 years of experience in project delivery, DevOps, and IT architecture, Jarrod specialises in leading complex digital transformations that improve system performance, reliability, and clinical outcomes.
Kapil Ambwani | Senior Business Analyst – Community EMR, Barwon Health
Kapil is a Senior Business Analyst on the Community Electronic Medical Record (CEMR) Project at Barwon Health and a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®). He plays a key role in delivering user-centred digital solutions by aligning clinical workflows, stakeholder needs, and system capabilities across Community Health services. Kapil brings extensive experience in healthcare transformation and a passion for improving care through structured analysis and collaborative design.
Lauren Solomon | Chief Clinical Informatics Officer at Barwon Health and South West Alliance Rural Health
Lauren is the Chief Clinical Informatics Officer at Barwon Health and the South West Alliance of Rural Health (SWARH), where she leads digital health strategy and innovation across regional Victoria. With over 15 years of experience in clinical care and health informatics, she brings a strong clinician’s perspective to the design of patient-centred digital solutions.
Maria Montgomery | IIBA Melbourne Chair, Author, International Speaker, Trainer & Coach
Maria is a recognised coach, mentor, speaker, trainer, and the Chair of IIBA Melbourne, known for her expertise in guiding individuals and teams to achieve higher performance. As the author of The Art of Getting Business Analysis Right and a respected leader, Maria has led successful business transformations and developed tailored mentorship programs since 2014.
