Starting or growing your career in Business Analysis?
This interactive online session begins with a candid conversation between Malini Jayaganesh (IIBA Melbourne Branch Chair) and Gaurav Kathuria (Founder and Principal Trainer at Business Analysis Upskill) on the relevance of certifications. Together, they will explore common questions such as whether experience alone is enough, whether certifications help secure roles, and the practical value they bring. Drawing on their own career experiences, this discussion sets the scene for the session.
Gaurav will then introduce the Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) from IIBA, outlining how it provides a strong foundation through structured learning, industry frameworks and best practices, helping you build confidence, credibility and direction in your BA journey.

Meet the Presenter: Gaurav Kathuria
Gaurav Kathuria is the Founder and Principal Trainer at Business Analysis Upskill, with over 25 years of experience across Software Design & Architecture, Business Analysis, and Product Management. An IIBA® Premium Training Partner and CBAP®-certified practitioner, he delivers practical, real-world Business Analysis training and helps professionals prepare for globally recognised BA certifications.
