How confident are you that the decisions made on your projects are backed by the right data - and that your risks are truly understood?

About this Event

IIBA and PMIQ are excited to welcome Sharee Bartlett, Partner at KordaMentha, for a practical and thought‑provoking free session exploring how risk and data management can be embedded early and consistently to strengthen decision‑making in complex project environments.

Risk and data management sit at the heart of successful project delivery, yet many teams struggle to apply these pillars with the maturity needed to influence outcomes. This session draws on insights from KordaMentha’s project experts, including Sharee, to demonstrate how business analysis and project management capabilities can be used together to integrate risk and data in ways that lift delivery performance.

Sharee, and her KordaMentha team, will share real project examples where risk and data were applied effectively - enabling clearer decisions, stronger stakeholder alignment, and more predictable delivery outcomes. She will also unpack situations where these pillars were under‑utilised, revealing the consequences of missed signals, incomplete analysis, or fragmented information flows. These contrasts offer practical lessons for business analysts and project managers seeking to elevate the maturity of their own practices.

In this session, we'll explore:

  • What good looks like when risk and data are integrated from the outset - and how to recognise when they’re not.
  • Practical methods for strengthening collaboration between BA and PM roles to improve project outcomes in complex environments.
  • How to embed risk‑informed, data‑driven thinking into governance frameworks, reporting structures, and delivery approaches.

Designed for professionals who want to deepen their capability, sharpen their decision‑making, and apply proven approaches to managing risk and data in real‑world projects, this session will equip you to lead with greater clarity, confidence, and impact.
