The Business Analysis Professional Day's are Australia’s premier conferences for business analysis professionals. Hosted by the IIBA Australia Chapter, our events provide our community with the opportunity to advance their professional skills, learn about current industry trends and network with like-minded individuals.

Who should attend

The Professional Days are the years must attend event for people who are: 

  • members of the IIBA and IIBA Australia Chapter. 
  • practicing business analysts of any level of experience.
  • looking to start a new career in business analysis. 
  • wanting to develop their skills and competencies through thought-provoking sessions led by leading industry experts.
  • seeking to connect with their local community of business analysis professionals. 
  • required to gain Professional Development hours (PD) and Continuing Development Units (CDU) for IIBA® certifications.

General agenda and format

The Business Analysis Professional Days are focused on providing practical information that can be applied immediately.  Each conference session is delivered to a mixture of small and large audiences in the following formats:

  1. Presentations: Keynote and session presentations on the latest industry trends and emerging ideas.
  2. Workshops: Interactive sessions providing opportunities for attendees to participate in activities designed to put theory into practice.
  3. Quick Bites: Short, focused talks and demonstrations offered throughout the day in parallel to the main program. Spotlighting a single idea, the sessions will foster learning and provoke conversation.
  4. Networking: Between the planned sessions there will be ample time to network and reflect on all that you have learned.

Each Professional Day is structured slightly differently to meet the needs of the local business analysis community. Depending on the conference size, multiple concurrent streams will be offered throughout the day to support different skill levels and interests.
